julien bradley

A career nurse for over 40 years, Julien Bradley has heard many stories worthy of sharing. From patients and families to co-workers alike, these stories are inspiring, poignant, hopeful and most importantly, relatable.

A product of her midwestern roots, Julien aspires to capture the essence of the heartland in both setting and characters, leading readers on a road trip paired with a trusted driver heading toward new and familiar places with a renewed excitement.

Researching a topic is a trip down the rabbit hole for Julien, plunging feet first and not resurfacing for days. Just ask her family. Immersed in weaving fact into a work of fiction is a delicate process, one which brings great joy to this author. Incorporating real-time events into fictional contemporary romance with a flair for family drama, she hopes to spark an interest in her readers in subjects near and dear to her heart and educate as well as entertain.

Encouraged to put pen to paper, Julien’s greatest influence in becoming a writer/published author was initiated by her daughter, a published independent author in her own right. Unlike her daughter who had been writing stories since early grade school, however, Julien began her journey later in life and touches on the experiences of those with a little silver around the temples.

Julien has published three novels in the Bakken series, Beneath the Bedrock, Between Fracture Lines, and Beyond the Bust also two series companions, The Steel Town Orphan and the Ranch Hand and the Blue Skirt Maverick and the Fly Boy. All available on Amazon.
